Duct Tape Flash

This is my pathetic external flash. The opening for the batteries broke so its being held together by duct tape. The duct tape, however, has an attitude of its own. It seems to like to come undone when I am shooting in large crowds and then I am scrambling on the floor looking for my 4 AAs. It's annoying for me, but seems to make others chuckle. :)

So I am looking to spend some money on a new flash. Anyone have any recommendations?
