Paths and Tracks

I have just started to read Robert McFarlane's book "The Old Ways" in which he describes walking the many old paths, lanes and tracks which criss cross the country. His introductory chapters gave me the idea for a project, within my blip postings , to photograph, occasionally,any walkways of interest, and where better to start than in the woods this afternoon with this slightly snowy path heading into the trees. Not a major woodland path but typical of the many which wind their way around woods.
