Suspension bridge

While out walking today during a brief spell of sunshine on an otherwise dreary day I came across this super bridge. I was told a story about it so when I got home I googled it and discovered this:

The North Stoke Suspension Bridge which spans and old part of the River Arun (now redirected but leaving the area marshy) near to the hamlet of North Stoke in West Sussex. The original bridge had been damaged when an old oak tree fell on to it. The 70 Gurkha Field Support Squadron of 36 Regiment stepped in after consultation with West Sussex County Council and the Amberely Society (Amberley is a picturesque village nearby). The work was completed in 2009. The bridge carries a footpath in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the South Downs National Park.
