Slow tempo photography
A workshop with a few friends from the photo club exploring the craft of creating prints. The plan is to place my prints on the wall and "live" with them for a few weeks. Look at them, identify various types of improvements and make new prints. Place these on the wall and so on. Then we will have a new meeting and compare what we have achieved.
The tempo of blipping is something quite different. You keep your eyes open every day searching for possible blips. Then you process it, probably as quick as you can before uploading it. Then you more or less forget the image. I’m not saying this is something bad. This every day mission has been of tremendous importance for me as a photographer. Now I think the slower process of making and evaluating prints can add some more to my experience and knowledge in photography.
But I will keep on blipping every day!
