The road home

It has been the greyest, murkiest, most depressingly wet and dull day, so I was surprised to see some light and colour in the sky on the way home.

My new assistant started today and I am happy that she is enthusiastic, and optimistic that we will make a good team. That too feels like a 'road home' towards a bright and cheerful sky, as it has been a challenging few months of not having someone in place.
