6 months old today!

Here Maple is at 5:10 pm; the exact time she was born 6 months ago!

What a beautiful, soft, squishy and robust girl she is. She is a privilege to have as part of our family and we all just love her to bits!

Oscar and Bailee helped me make a carrot cake yesterday to mark the occasion. Predictably, there was only half left today, but I guess that kind of fits in with her being 6 months old!

Maple slept a lot today; she usually does after her vaccinations. I took her to the Marina Mall for a chai latte and to get groceries. In the afternoon I took Oscar and Maple to a 'Yummy Mummy' tea and cake afternoon... It was strange without Bailee, I rarely split them..... she needed another 90 minutes sleep and we were already an hour late for the meet up so I decided it may be nice to give Oscar a bit of extra attention anyway. We had a nice time together and the split up was worth it for the grand reunion (Even though it was no more than 90 minutes later!)

Straight after that I took the three kids down to the park. The twins had a ball today. They found someone's abandoned ride-on car and it amused them for quite some time! They were really silly today, laughing hysterically pulling the craziest faces/

The oddest thing was at 5:10 just before I took the photo of Maple. Oscar and Bailee randomly gave each other the biggest hug ever. It was like a, 'We're still here together independent of all the changes over the past 6 months' kind of hug (If that exists!?) They do a lot of hand holding and obviously love each other to bits, it's just that the impromptu hugs are a bit more rare. How sweet!

Anyway, it's been amazing to experience a singleton baby over the past 6 months.... I cannot wait to see how her personality develops and how she grows. Love her and the twins so much!
