Heirlooms

The clock has returned from the garage because we couldn't find a suitable place until today. It looks quite handsome there. Its an early Victorian Long case C lock that appears to have been cut down at some stage in its life, probably so it would fit in an old cottage with low ceilings. It's last known home was my Uncle Ted who lived at Southsea, prior to that it stood in the Plough PH in Merton Oxfordshire. Still a bit of family around there but more in the graveyard than anywhere now.

Another day of sorting out with more in the bin.
