Winner

Falkirk played Montrose in an SPFL League One match on Saturday and it was a rather eventful game. It was a match the Bairns just managed to scrape through 1-0, with Declan McManus scoring the only goal from a penalty kick (pictured).

In the second half McManus was sent off for a deliberate hand-ball, which also resulted in Montrose being awarded a penalty. On this occasion, however, the Falkirk goalkeeper Robbie Mutch pulled off a wonderful save to deny what would have been a deserved equaliser.

It was cold. It was wet. It was, though, another three points for the Navy Blues.
