Complete contrast

A quite different sky today. Rainy and I need to buy a new rain gauge. The last one was left out in the snow and of course cracked. In any case I needed a new one because the old one read in eighths of an inch which was a pain! 
The extra is of the first bud on the hellebores, indeed the first bud on anything!
I think today is 1825 blips, which has taken me a little more than five years because of  gaps. The gaps tend to trend ups and downs in life, but at the same time the very fact that I am still here after five years is witness to the friendship, support and camaraderie that is Blipfoto.
