POTTED PLANTS
Woke up to snow this morning! A bit more than a dusting but not too much. However it didn't last long, because it turned to rain almost immediately.
Went to Qi Gong in Lindale - a very small select group today due to travel difficulties but it was a great session and I feel so much better now that C has cast her magic once more.
It was tipping it down with rain on the way home so I didn't stop to take any blips anywhere. I came round via The Lower Grange Golf Club - it is so deep in water. (we have two Golf Clubs, this lower one and a smaller one high up by the fells on the outskirts of Grange on the road leading to Cartmel). Grange Golf Club always floods but I've never seen it this deep before, you can't see the flag posts at all. Meathop Road which leads up to it has been completely under water and impassable for over a week now. Not sure if the club house has been flooded out or not. Sadly I'm not a golfer but it is always nice to see people using the greens in the summer months and the club house has a good reputation for food and events. I will try to take a photo of it sometime this week, but as it's on a road with nowhere to park it could be difficult.
The theme for Mono Monday is Looking Down so I'm afraid all I could think of was looking down at my glass bowl full of pot pourri (hence the potted plants title), looking down into it.
As I'm writing this (2.15 Monday afternoon) I can now see blue sky, and sum shadows on the sea, so I'm guessing the sun has come out, wind has got up a bit again though.
