Walk in fine weather

A welcome improvement in the weather made the walk with the Roscrea Ramblers a pleasant one. We walked a section of the Slieve Bloom Way from Cadamstown to Kinnitty. The recent heavy rain meant that some sections were very wet underfoot and the Silver River was in good flood. It is a very pleasant walk through woodland, field and forest, ending at Kinnitty Castle, where food and drink are available.
