Cherwell Valley
I had planned to leave Rachel's at 8am this morning, but typically I didn't wake up until 8.10am!
I didn't hear Rach and Scott come in last night and when I asked her what time they get home, she said it was about 1.45am and Scarlett had stayed the night with Hattie. They had a good night though!
Anyway, I ended up leaving about 9.30am and it was raining heavily, but luckily it cleared up although the traffic was surprisingly heavy. I stopped at Cherwell Valley Services which is about half way, and they have a riverside walk, so I went to see if there were any photo opportunities. I don't think this pond is normally there, so guess the river has broken it's banks at some point, or may it's just down to the sheer amount of rain we've been having! Either way, I liked the reflections in the water.
I finally got home about 3pm, and as soon as the car was unpacked we headed down to the beach for a walk along the underciff. It was a lovely walk and we stopped at Whitecliffs Cafe for a hot chocolate on our way back.
