New Housing Development

A field adjacent to my estate has been set aside for new housing (83 units) for a few years and work started at the end of last week. Evidently the posh houses are being built first. For a small town, hundreds of new houses have been built in the last couple of years, and my estate was built only just over 20 years ago. Most seem popular, but those the other side of the bypass are struggling to sell. The main issue concerning existing residents is the lack of increase in supporting infrastructure such as doctors, dentists, town parking and so on. 

I took this on the walk back from town where I had a lovely Sunday lunch with A. So nice to be able to walk into town for a meal or some shopping.
