In the pink

A very similar photo to yesterday. You may have heard on the news that a calima (dust from the Sahara) has blanketed the Canaries. Some flights into Tenerife have been diverted to Faro in Portugal or flights have been cancelled and lots of people will be trying to get home after half term so it must be chaos at the airport. The dust hasn’t helped my cough although we have stayed indoors, lots of fires have started in Gran Canaria, pictures on local TV looked horrendous. Rain urgently needed. We are only on the edge of the dust cloud, I would hate to be in the centre. There is pink dust everywhere.
