Green lane over the moors.

This "green lane" was once the coaching road between Garstang and Chipping in the Ribble Valley. At this point the lane is at about 750 feet above sea level as it crosses Barnacre Moor and must have been a very lonely place to be back in the 19th Century. It still is today!
