Volunteer view

As I'm still injured and unable to run, I decided to volunteer as a marshall at my 'home' parkrun at Southwark Park (picture taken from 'the mound' where the pre-run briefing is held). Very glad I did - great to see runners of all shapes, sizes and abilities run, jog, walk and even limp their way round. And I was thanked numerous times by runners for volunteering.
