Judy Chicago
It was bitterly cold today alongside the Quayside or, as they say in Newcastle, "Baltic". My youngest daughter & I power walked across the millennium bridge to get out of the cold and inside the actual Baltic (art gallery) to see the Judy Chicago exhibition. She's described as a pioneering feminist artist, author and educator and we really enjoyed exploring her work on the themes of birth, death, human and animal distress and the climate emergency.
The 'Crowning Quilt' (1982) was my particular favourite!
