The Long Walk

We went for a long walk along the 'Long Walk' at Windsor Great Park today.

It was certainly a long walk to get there, as there is no nearby convenient parking unless you are prepared to pay about £2 million for a house and get a residents parking permit! .

It was very cold, and we probably did about two thirds of the 2.65 miles from the Castle to the Copper Horse before we decided to turn back. Well I decided as Jim is a dog and doesn't get much of a say - but he was starting to shiver...
I've sussed out some more convemient (and free) parking nearer the middle of the
walk, where next time we will hopefully get to the Copper Horse - may be when it's a bit warmer.
Just as we turned back we saw some deer. I was quite excited (I think Jim was as well)
