From the sublime....to the ridiculous!

Having had a lovely day yesterday looking at "real" birds, I found myself in the John Lewis store doing some retail therapy - drooling, I might add, over the Apple MacBook - I told my husband I would forego the sapphire ring for our 45th wedding anniversary for one of those - not sure if he heard, so may have to shout a bit louder!

Anyway, saw these lovely ducks in the bathroom section, and as the snow is looking rather grey and dull now, decided that this would make an ideal blip for today.

Such fun and so colourful - they really brightened up my day. My mother-in-law never liked January and February as they are such long, cold and dreary months, so we definitely need to look for things that make us feel more cheerful.

Walked back into the town centre; had to be careful because the pavements were treacherous but enjoyed the walk and spoke to several people along the way - somehow snow seems to make people more communicative.

It's now snowing again, so not sure if I will get into school tomorrow, but if not, will be sure to find something to do - and of course, I need to think of what I can 'blip'!
