Walk out to Winter

School stayed open all day which was a result. And something of a surprise (this is the lane where I pick them up outside the school). That left me free to hunker down in front of the wood burner and do some work (plus do a quick supermarket dash and grab a coffee).

Kids are all back home now though so I need to get the Penne Carbonara on the go and then cover the kitchen table before Eve melts a carefully selected array of coloured wax crayons over the top of a canvas with a hair dryer.
