Metal Heart

Dull and grey, I had to nip into town to deliver books and cards before the big trip. My mind is elsewhere - books delivered, paid for etc, got back in the car and found I had returned with the money - and the books! Sneaky, eh!
Getting a bit stressed about the travel, the virus bit. No face masks are to be had but medical advice seems to suggest that they are only necessary if you are infected. It sounds as though the airports are pretty empty so in a weird way it might be a good time to travel! Singapore is the most worrisome. Actually most worrisome is that we may bring it with us - family are arriving from all over the place for the wedding and the thought of little Esme getting it. Sorry rambling and writing out loud.

And on top of all this, the new little stray cat is now in heat, so she will have to be caught and taken to visit the nice vet at some point. Sue the house sitter, who is returning, will be thrilled.

 I only took one photo today - a drain cover, at least that's what I assume it is!  What funky patterns though.
