Long lines of stitching .....

......my least favourite part of patchworking.
I enjoy assembling the patchwork and even a spot of hand quilting but long lines of straight stitching to anchor the layers together. I have machined the longest four lines so the hardest bit is over .... the shorter lines are a dawdle.

Wind, rain, hail, snow and a blink of sunshine ...... we've had all weathers today and it has been rather chilly.  My empty landfill bin has been blown down my path twice and that was with two bricks sitting on the lid.
