Jitterbugs

Tim and Adele came over at lunchtime.
Wasn’t sure if they would be able to get here as at one point in the morning we were cut off from Ilkley and Otley due to flooding ( our village is in the middle of the two).
They had come over the tops and avoided any hold ups.
After some lunch Tim and Mr P watched sport on TV : Adele and l drove up to the Moor Road and got to the supermarket easily.
Got a few essentials from Aldi then we drove down to Waitrose for the rest of the shop and had coffee and cake there.
A quick walk around Otley, very quick indeed as the sky turned from blue and sunny to near black and another huge cloudburst.
Did allow me to get my Blip of these pencil sharpeners (where the bugs dance to the vibration )as we saw them in a shop display when we took shelter from the storm.
Had to take a detour to Menston on the way home as the bypass was closed , still flooded unfortunately.
