Simple and beautiful
The wind whistled, growled and howled all night and as we are both feeling under the weather, we had a longer than usual lie-in. The necessary dog walk this morning involved wading through mud and struggling against driving rain (despite the dry forecast!) but it was a mild 10 degrees so enjoyable - at times. We took a detour via the bakery on the way home so Andy could get a sausage roll and then hunkered on down for several hours. I revised my studies and rested, whilst Andy watched the rugby. It has felt a long time since I have just sat down and done nothing other than look out of the window. It was very pleasant!
These are the last few remaining flowers from those given by Andy last week. I think having just a few enables you to appreciate how each single one is filled with beauty.
Hoping this finds you well and having had a good day.
