Blue skies
One Street 11
No apology for another snow shot, with blue skies and sunshine it was transformed today and we won't have it for long.
This is part of my 'One Street' - Long Lane / Harden Road. This is the land described on the stone in my blip two weeks ago as -- 'The soil and ground of the way leading from hence to Bingley Bridge belongs to Benjamin Ferrand Esq.'. The land of Benjamin Ferrand
It is the village cricket ground and football ground backed by the woodlands of the St Ives Estate which also belonged to the Ferrand family. They look quite different in the snow.
At the foot of the trees at the far right you can see some of the houses at Cuckoo's Nest, a small housing estate which denotes the end of the village. There is a track alongside the houses leading into St Ives and it is probably where the footprints in the snow are heading.
Oh and you can just spot me at the gate!
