Lakeside, Windermere

When I opened the blinds this morning I was so surprised to see. blue sky!  The forecast had been for more rain and it was very good to see sunshine.

A trip to Lakeside to book a spa day - a Christmas present from Santana.  Looking forward to that next month.

The boats were all moored as the services were not running due to high winds and flooding.  Several jettys here had disappeared under the high water levels (see extra).

From here to Gummer's How across the lake.  Very windy!
