Rolling

A rolling boil is helpful when making marmalade.

All the effort of peeling, slicing and squeezing led to 10 jars of marmalade to see us through the year.

Once that was done off into town and back to the old office to joint the departure marking of Laura what has been at Children’s Hearings Scotland for 5 and a half years. Laura arrived as a communications assistant but moved over onto the digital programme where she has helped shaped the new system. It is now being rolled out successfully in phases.

Laura - see extra - is now moving on and apart from missing her expertise the office will miss her superb baking skills. I’m sure I have lost a few pounds since retiring as the temptation to eat her produce has been removed!

It was good to catch up with the team after - for them - a couple of very busy months.
