Early morning snow scene

Although I try and get the bus to the train station most days, today was actually the first time in 2 weeks. So, having decided that London wasn't going to be a knee deep in snow as Stevenage I opted for walking shoes instead of snow boots.

The phone camera was called into play almost immediately. I took a couple of snaps of the traffic, one of my shadow under the street lamp light and some of this tree with and without the flash. I opted for the picture taken without the flash.

I do love this time of the morning, its still dark for life is emerging. Cars being warmed, birds starting to sing and crunchy snow underfoot as I walk down the road. Unfortunately for me though the bus was late this morning, I ended up waiting 15 extra minutes, and when the bus finally arrived the driver decided to stop another 50 metres further up the road as myself and my fellow expectant passengers hadn't hailed it correctly..... Grrrr!!!! (and Brrrrr!!!!).
