Birmingham Bull

I’ve had a lovely day shopping in Birmingham with my good friend E today. Several purchases made and even time for coffee and cake, a delicious damson, gin, pistachio and frangipane tart.

There are times when I’m out and everyone seems impatient and rude, today stands out for being quite the opposite. Several wheelchair users were helped onto the trains by staff with smiles, waves and even handshakes, passengers moved to let a family sit together and an elderly gentleman helped into a seat. We’ve had a chat and laughed with the staff of most of the stores we’ve been in, it’s been a pleasant surprise considering it’s a busy half term holiday.
