Cyrano de Bergerac

At the Playhouse Theatre, London, although I wasn't there in person: it was screened live to the Odeon in Wester Hailes (among other places). I got the idea of going from Sunseeker, who was watching at the same time as me, but in Athens. It was great, James McAvoy was Cyrano and he was fierce! I always wonder how actors manage to give such so much energy and emotion night after night, but I suppose that's part of what it takes to be a professional. Anita-Joy Uwajeh was also excellent as Roxanne as was Eben Figueiredo as Christian. The only thing that puzzled me somewhat was all the microphones...
