Egret

...and his shadow. Plus his reflection and the reflection of his shadow. I'm fascinated by  his shadow, he must be mostly feathers. Or is he so white he's reflecting light back at his own shadow? This one slough is a highlight of my cycle route -  the heron, the great egret, and a snowy egret all hang around there quite predictably, each in his own space. Today there was a black shouldered kite hovering overhead, too. The snowy egret is the most active, and has wonderful yellow feet (extra).
