Beauty of the snow

It's a glorious, sharp, cold and brilliant morning. The deep snow and the Staffordshire countryside are at their very best.

The car is safely parked.
The house is warm.
The bird table is well stocked
And even the jay is coping with the snow

I went for a walk along the bridlepath. Apart from me and a couple walking their two border collies, there was nobody to be seen.

Days like this are very special
