Mythical and historical figures stand watch over shoppers at the Trafford Centre. A unicorn, griffin and Roman centurion based on elements from the Trafford coat of arms were created by artist Colin Spofforth in 2006. The Trafford Centre is a large indoor shopping centre and leisure complex in Dumplington, Greater Manchester.
