Meet Al...

... or Mr Dente to you! :-)

I was given Mr Al Dente as part of a birthday gift. Apparently I have to throw him into boiling water with my pasta and once the pasta is perfectly cooked he serenades me with Italian arias to let me know. He'll have his first outing tomorrow as I'm doing a spaghetti bolognaise for some friends... wonder what they'll think when (probably slightly burbly) opera starts drifting from the kitchen??!
