Dog Days

Today was much better than Wednesday. 

In part I have to thank our UCLA intern for it. She left the safety of Parliament and came to our wee chicken shed for the first time. It is always fun to meet someone you have just dealt on the telephone up to then. 

I think it opened her eyes to grassroots political life. We had several characters in seeking help while she was there and they were a good cross section of our workload. 

Her face was a picture when she smelled one of them. Others were more amusing. 

The Blip is just my walk from the Office back to the car. You can just see the sea.
