Working from Home

I was working from home today - my son had an appointment which I had to attend, to avoid a further long waiting list for a replacement. I had a meeting online first thing, and some urgent work, and my Dad turned up to help with the floor. I then took my son. The lady we saw was wonderful - she gave us double the time she was supposed to, and I left feeling optimistic.

When we got back, I had missed my next meeting. Luckily they were understanding. My son and my dad cracked on with the floor - and they are still working on it. Its hard, because you can't buy the exact floor now, so they have ended up cannibalising the floor from the eldest's room, with a view to we will replace that with newer wood or carpet.

I stopped working at around 5:15pm, and made them dinner - then logged back onto the work computer for half an hour. I'm going to be thrilled when the floor is finished. First of the big house issues to be fixed I hope.
