It really hurts

So I bit the bullet and had my upper wisdom tooth out - took a fair few injections to make sure the area was properly numbed - the tooth was anchored down by 4 spindly roots. 2 came out fine, the other two were much more difficult to extract so the decision was made to leave them there. The blood should clot over and bone form in time - so the effort involved to remove them (and pain) is not worth it. Let's see....

I am meant to be going out for lunch with my niece and nephew along with a trip to the Wave  (watching only)- but given I can't even open my mouth at the moment I am not sure that's going to be happening. Nurofen has been taken - had to search for aspirin free products - don't want to encourage blood loss from my tooth!
