Scary!

Because it is so muddy just now, I have taken to walking Lottie on the beach more often. She snuffles about in the seaweed and has a grand time, skipping along on the stones. The other day she found a dead squid, intact, and she had great fun with it until I got it off her and threw it into the sea!

I keep my eyes open for shards of old pottery. I have so much that now I tend to only pick up interesting pieces. Getting fussy! Today's best find was this face. I'm assuming that it's part of a clay pipe bowl. We often find pipe stems in the garden as well as on the beach, but never found anything like this before.
