Busy day. Kids' school was open, much to their horror, thanks to a local farmer who cleared the snow from the school grounds the evening before. The roads are quite treacherous still but we made it safely.

Spent the day catching up on paperwork and homework and ploughing through various projects I've got on the go - not very exciting but still necessary and there's always so much of it! - then had a lovely walk in the snow this evening. I didn't blip this last night as I was hoping my formal teacher-training offer would come through but it hasn't yet. I know I'm being offerred a place and it's working its way through the system but with one thing and another (like Christmas and the snow!) it's yet to appear through the official channel. I'm not worried but until then, I don't know what conditions are attached to it so it's a bit of a nail-biting time at the moment! Fingers crossed it appears today (and that they're kind to me!).
