Another day of showers.
A lorry in this morning with 10 tons of sheep feed for the hill ewes. Emptied the 10 pallets into the shed . How long it will sit ther I don’t know. It usually goes out to the tin shed out on the hill but there isn’t a hope in hell of getting any where near it just now. Fingers crossed for a couple of days of hard frost but not likely just now either.
Spent the afternoon chucking tyres off the top of the silage pit and rolling the plastic sheet back to expose the next weeks worth . It doesn’t seem that long ago I was chucking them on to hold the sheet down at silage time.
Kev shifting more straw out the lambing shed. There are a lot more bales to move yet.
Decided to add this bullock to the 18 going to St Boswell’s mart tomorrow as there is a pre sale show. Don’t expect he’ll get a ticket but if he stays in his pen I will be quite happy as he is a wee bit lively ! Gave him a quick haircut at lunch time to help tidy him up a bit.
