Pentland Hills Panorama
I made 2,500 blips to end 2019. Unfortunately a few gaps.
In the morning, it is nice and quiet, and I do a little photo editing. It is also quiet as the twins are in Denmark.
A nice way to start the New Year is a walk in the afternoon. Some places are like a city centre. Fortunately we are out of the city centre, and the Braid Hills are noway as busy as Arthur's Seat. It is pretty misty though. The Ochil Hills are conspicuous by their absence. The Pentland Hills are relatively clear, so I opt for a panorama shot from the top. No snow yet.
From here it is a short distance to the decorated miniature tree (Extra 1). Decorations a bit sparse due to the windy weather we are having this winter. We walk down to Mortonhall to see the Highland Cows, Extra 2 shows one of them. The we head home along a very muddy path to Braid Road.
It does feel cold, so glad to get a nice cup of coffee, with a wee bit of chocolate of course.
