High Tide

After a morning of removing layers of paint on an old panel where parts had bubbled up. Quite a fight to get back to bare wood so I can start again.

The forecast for the coast was much better than at home. Despite a high tide we decide to park up at Holbeck and walk in. The change in scenery made it worthwhile and we picked up some shopping that we needed. Good to see some of the significant repairs to the steep slopes above the Spa ( the building on the extreme right of the main photo).

We just made it back to the car as the heavens opened.
