tip trip

Whenever we have to drive into town, we always try to multitask and get as many things done as possible. So today, a trip to do the weekly shop (which I used to do when D was at yoga, but he no longer goes to the Tuesday evening class) and the Post Office meant that we also filled up the car with all the recycling which had been collected in the garage over the past year. Most of this came from roadside litter picks - tubs of plastic bottles and cans - but as you can see from the photo, it also included old saw and lawnmower blades, and the vacuum cleaner which failed last month after 15 years of very faithful service. A bit more space in the garage and some food to keep us going for the next week (although the huge pot of curry D cooked yesterday and the apple crumble we just made might just do that anyway!).
