Shadows of the Night
I spend hours looking at shadows created by the way the light hits ordinary objects in my home...houses along my street...created by the columns in the subway. I'm also fascinated at the way objects and structures meet and cross paths with one another and am looking for abstract meaning or unusual designs in them. This blip-bonanza has really made me look even more and wonder if I might be able to capture in a photo what I seem to see with my eyes. It is not an easy thing to do and I am now filled with even more respect for photographers who have mastered their craft. In fact...I think I might enjoy a lesson or two in photography...how to frame or crop a photo...light...focusing...yes...an iPhone is not the ideal tool for taking blip-pics...but I'm working on it.
This photo is of the shadows created by my coffee table. I took about a dozen photos and his one seems to capture the abstract geometric pattern created by the light from the lamp on the side table. and this...is my blip for the day...
