Sketchy Parking
The second of the six-session Urban Sketching class I'm taking was challenging: it felt like she was teaching everything you could possibly teach about watercoloring in 2 1/2 hours; that means it's just where I needed to be - right there learning.
To get there, to the quirky, Fair-Haired Dumbbell building, I rode the bus and train and walked some blocks, too, all enjoyable on a clear, crisp late afternoon, but Eric didn't have as good a time when he came to pick me up. The same old getting-to-be-more-familiar lack of parking, new bike lane markings, and small, poorly-lit signage. But we got it all figured out and stopped for a late glass of beer to get caught up on a day spent apart.
