Moon and Jupiter

The Moon will appear even closer in the night sky of North America tonight, but here's the view shortly before the Moon set in Bath, Somerset, England, UK, Earth, Solar System.

To the right of the Moon is the Pleiades open cluster. To the left of the Moon and Jupiter is Aldebaran and the stars of Taurus. Orion is magnificent in the south, with red super-giant Betelgeuse and blue white super-giant Rigel A. To the far left is Sirius, the Dog Star in Canis Major.
