Painting rebirth

The small image in the top LH corner is of a diptych I have repainted several times over the years.  However because of the recent terrible bushfires here I found it disturbing as it is of an afterburn.   So....off the wall and onto the easel where I painted the image all grey and began to play with the shapes in an abstract way.  It's just a start so will see where it leads.  I'm trying to get the shapes and colours to relate to each other so thought it might be nice to share the process on blip.  I've no idea where it will lead to at this stage but it's fun.
