Minsi Lake ....

.... cattails.

I've been reading in the paper that Minsi Lake, which had been drained in order to fix the dam, is being refilled.  Not only had they fixed the dam while the lake was drained they also added some fish habitat enhancement structures.

I very much wanted to see these structures so today we headed up the the lake to check them out.  They had started refilling the lake recently and I thought there would be more water in it by now but you could barely see any at all.  But the fish habitat structures were very visible, which is what we went up there for in the first place.  We will have to go back in a few months to see the refilled lake.  

The lake was quite different from the last time we visited.
