Beyond dreich

What a miserble day - grey skies, wet snow or rain for most of it.

However did "force" myself to go out to shops and felt better for - the bark of this tree across the road in the locl park caught my eye and provides some colour.

Tonight it is drawing class - off now to look out some DIY tools which we have been asked to bring. Last week it was bottles - there was something rather surreal about sketching gin and whisky bottles in the local high school. I am enjoying being introduced to different technques and trying them out.
