Hoppy

It took a great effort but I managed a walk round the garden this morning . The sun was shining and I was surprised at how dry everything was after the recent deluge.

The chickens, ducks and geese looked very happy and there was not too much mud in their field. I havent visited them for some weeks so it was good to see them looking very healthy . It's a big job for Ian to care for them on his own and it's quite upsetting for me that I cannot participate in their welfare at the moment.

I never thought I would miss weeding but I find it quite cathartic to pull up the unwanted weeds. Hopefully I will be able to do some gardening in the near future.
